Positive Thoughts Needed This Way...

Me and Bob have had some roller coaster days this week. Mom and Dad played a horrible April Fools on Bob and scheduled him to be neutered yesterday. He was so sad all day afterwards. Finally tonight he is getting back to himself. I left early from school to help Mom pick him up from the vet yesterday...it was a little stressful for Mom because the reason I left school early was that I had three seizures. So with me in the back seat and Bob in the front seat we drove home. Almost made it without incident but then Bob got sick in the car! Poor Bob...Poor Mom! Then after we got Bob settled at home Mom and I left for my doctor's appointment with Dr. Simmerville, my new pediatrician. We had the appointment to talk about the pain in my leg. It is back again and is not going away. Dr. Simmerville noticed that my knee was swollen and agrees that with Angelman Syndrome there are some things you have to live with but having a leg that hurts isn't one of those things. I totally second that opinion! So, he is really working hard to help us find out an explanation and treatment that gets rid of it forever. So today I got alot of lab work done and got more x-rays. I hate x-rays...lab draws aren't so bad...go figure! I am also going to have another MRI to hopefully learn something. He is also going to talk to my neurologist to see if we should be doing anything different for my seizures. The last couple of weeks my left hand stops working sometimes so that is also a little concerning to everyone...especially me! I also started working with another physical therapist today who specializes in orthopedic issues. He is my first ever guy therapist and so I'm thinking that is pretty cool! He has given me some fun excercises to work into my dance routine and the bonus is some of them include a balloon! So...alot going on right now but I'm still smiling and still hopeful this summer will be an awesome, pain free summer! Please say some prayers that it all works out. One last thing...thanks Grandma for talking to Mom yesterday. I could tell she felt alot better after talking to you!
